Bishop grew up in Riverdale, Maryland and is a first-generation American. He is proud of his Ghanaian roots.
In his free time, Bishop enjoys sports, traveling, photography, volunteering and spending time with his family and friends. Bishop is a devoted alumnus of his alma mater, the University of Maryland, College Park and remains involved as an Alumni Chapter Board member.
Bishop graduated from the Charlotte School of Law in December 2015. He was selected by his peers and colleagues to be the graduation commencement speaker. While in law school, Bishop began developing client relationships by directly assisting clients through the Community Economic Development Law Clinic.
Prior to joining Berman, Sobin, Gross, Feldman & Darby, LLP, Bishop clerked for the seven Honorable Judges of both Howard and Carroll County District Courts. On top of his traditional duties as a Judicial Law Clerk, Bishop had a unique opportunity to help review proposed legislation for the Maryland Civil Law Legislative Subcommittee, which impacts communities throughout Maryland. This experience contributed to Bishop’s passion for helping people in their day-to-day lives.
