Robert was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Though from the Tidewater area, Robert has spent the last 10 years in the DMV between attending George Mason University for his undergraduate studies and attending law school in the District of Columbia. In his spare time, Robert enjoys playing and watching sports, traveling with his friends and family, and enjoying the outdoors.
Before attending law school, Robert gained significant legal experience working as a Paralegal for a mid-sized medical malpractice law firm in Northern Virginia. Prior to joining the firm as an Associate, Robert worked with the firm as a law clerk getting acclimated and accustomed to better serve and represent claimants in workers' compensation law.
While in law school, Robert served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. As a judicial intern, Robert was challenged to look through the lens of a judge in resolving complex legal issues. Robert also served as a Student-Attorney for the Public Justice Advocacy Clinic for The George Washington University Law School. As a Student Attorney, Robert represented pro bono clients in wage and hour, consumer protection, and employment and unemployment insurance claims. This experience provided Robert with the written and oral advocacy skills that could not be attained in the classroom and translates to the courtroom.
