Charlie is a Carroll County native passionate about advocating for the rights of injured Marylanders. His practice focuses on representing police officers, educators, first responders and union employees across the state. On the weekends you might catch him riding his mountain bike on the local trails, backpacking to some remote location, or enjoying the outdoors with his family and making memories with his young children, Oliver and Winnie. Charlie is an avid fan of his alma mater, the West Virginia Mountaineers, and both of Baltimore’s sports teams.
Charles began his legal career as a defense attorney, representing municipal employers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. With his knowledge of defense tactics and strategies, Charlie brings a unique perspective to the benefit of his clients. He frequently conducts seminars to local unions and workers, advising them of their legal rights under the workers’ compensation laws of Maryland.
